Brick stitch

 

Did another class recently at The Beaderie, this time for Woven circle-on-circle earrings.



Really wasn't keen on this design as a pair of earrings; I'm more of a stud kind of girl.  So, I decided to make mine into a necklace....

  

 

This was a lot more 'me'.  I don't think brick stitch is going to become a fave - I prefer peyote - but I always like to learn new jewellery techniques.

I have to tell you that I'm really excited that The Beaderie is now stocking superduo beads and I've already made a couple of things with them, but I'll post about that next time.
